Point the menus here
Each 1Start install needs one setting, the policy URL. Everything in the Policy tab reaches every PC within its refresh interval (5 minutes by default), online or on the road.
HKLM\Software\Policies\0101\1Start\PolicyUrl = (the URL above)Shortcuts and links still come from your own network share (the Network source folder in the policy) or the local content folder on each PC. The cloud manages settings, lockdown and branding, and shows you which devices are running.
Policy
Settings applied to every PC and user. Blank fields are left to the local config. Group Policy (registry) values on a PC always win over this file.
Admin code hash
Rules apply on top of the Everyone settings, in order, to users that match. Conditions within one rule are all required; entries within a list are any-of; * and ? wildcards work. Groups match DOMAIN\Group or the bare group name.
The raw file, exactly as the menus read it. Edits here replace the form.
Devices
Every menu that follows your policy URL checks in when it refreshes. Devices not seen for 90 days drop off the list.
